The restaurant is named for the bamboo bridges in southern Vietnam that allow villagers to cross the many rivers and waterways. The bridges are named for the monkey-like postures travelers make as they cross loaded down with baskets of fresh fish, produce and herbs.

You will be pleasantly surprised as you cross the proverbial bridge from the hustle and bustle of city life to this little oasis of peaceful surroundings, pretty decor and tasty, fresh Vietnamese cuisine.

The best soup-and-sandwich deal in town is the Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich on a baguette) served with your choice of protein: chicken, beef, pork, ham & egg or fried tofu. It comes loaded with marinated meaty goodness, cucumber slices, cilantro sprigs and matchsticks of pickled carrot and daikon radish. NOTE: Since the meat is so perfectly seasoned, you’d be smart to order it without mayo. The sandwich comes with a cup of the house soup which is so good you’ll want to order a whole big bowl of it. It’s a silky chicken and rice congee topped with fragrant fried shallots. Heaven.

The other dishes on the menu are just as good, warming and incredibly satisfying as the banh mi. Next time, try any of the lemongrass creations or the Egg Roll & Pork Rice Noodle or really, anything on the menu.

This is a place for sharing and it’s great for almost any occasion from lunch with your colleagues, to a night out with your spouse and kids, to a date with that special someone.
